Advent Talent Group is seeking someone to join a locally owned insurance agency where your customer service skills make a real difference. We’re seeking a professional, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to serve as the friendly first point of contact for our policyholders.
Overview
- Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
- Location: Plymouth, MN (on-site)
- Compensation: $20–$23/hour, with opportunity to earn $25/hour after obtaining Property & Casualty license
- Schedule: Full-time
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities
As part of our customer support team, you’ll handle incoming inquiries and ensure every caller receives prompt, accurate assistance. You’ll work closely with our licensed policy team, routing technical questions while independently resolving general service requests. No insurance license required, they’ll provide comprehensive training on our products and procedures.

- Respond to general inquiries and triage policy-specific questions to licensed team members
- Support customers with claims status, payment processing, policy renewals, and enrollment questions
- Maintain compliance with all standard operating procedures and insurance program guidelines
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Document customer feedback and communicate insights to enhance service delivery
What You Bring
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of customer service experience in a professional setting
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment
- Proficiency with computers, including email, web browsers, and data entry systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet performance goals
- Professional composure when handling challenging situations
Preferred:
- Property & Casualty insurance producer license (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in insurance, healthcare, or regulated industries
