Overview & Perks
  • Full-time – Contract-to-hire
  • Compensation: $23.50/hr. + shift differentials
  • Ability to work overnight and on weekends!
  • Remote role open for Minnesota applicants only!
  • Flexibility and comfort of working from home, with supportive supervision.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Deliver compassionate crisis counseling and emotional support to callers, employing specialized intervention techniques with empathy and sensitivity.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of caller suicide risk and respond appropriately
  • Maintain precise documentation of interactions in the database to ensure comprehensive reporting.
  • Collaborate with callers to develop tailored safety plans and coping strategies.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls efficiently using a multi-line phone system.
  • Promptly request emergency services when needed to ensure caller safety!
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred; or 2+ years of experience in community services or programs.
  • Proficient in mental health, crisis intervention, and professional phone etiquette
  • Knowledgeable in mental health terminology and assessment.
  • Capable of managing crises calmly and establishing rapport efficiently.
  • Committed to maintaining privacy and adhering to HIPAA compliance standards
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish, Hmong, or Somali is a plus!
