About the Job
The Media Specialist manages day-to-day organic social, paid social, and paid search efforts, as well as vendor and account management the organization' s social media channels. Responsibilities include:
 
  • Growing brand visibility, awareness, membership and engagement through day-to-day social media activities, including creating content calendars, managing copy, and posting content
  • Developing and implementing effective paid media strategies in collaboration with communications and marketing teams, supporting organizational and individual campaign goals
  • Ensuring consistency in campaign communication and maintaining knowledge of paid search and social media best practices
  • Managing budget spend and monitoring ongoing campaigns to optimize ad performance and targeting
  • Running and analyzing reports for each platform and identifying new opportunities to increase ROI and meet campaign objectives
  • Managing paid search and social media vendor relationships and monthly billing
  • Monitoring social media engagement, responding to questions and comments on behalf of the organization

About You
Qualifications for this role include:
 
  • 3-5 years of experience in organic and paid social media
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and blogs
  • Experience with paid search and PPC advertising, including paid social
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply analysis to campaign development
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Background in legal or regulatory compliance a plus
