About the Job
The Account Supervisor will lead, manage and build strong client relationships through the development of effective business, marketing and advertising strategies, partnering with clients in a manner that meets or exceeds the client’ s objectives and ensuring high standards. This is a full-time, remote, direct hire opportunity. Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing the process of proposals, estimates, job costs, invoices and credit memos, resolving any problems and ensuring the client receives adequate explanation for any unexpected billings and adhering to relevant polices
  • Managing and creating working relationships with client personnel, ensuring work meets agency standards and is delivered in a timely manner within budget
  • Becoming a business resource for the client by being a recognized expert in the client’ s business
  • Working with staff, client and other agency departments, oversee the development of situation analysis, strategic guides, SWOT analysis, positioning analysis, marketing communications objectives, strategies and tactics and other strategic planning documents as necessary and appropriate for each client
  • Ensuring proper claims substantiation and confidential treatment of client information
  • Ensuring the creation of written records of all directions, work orders, recommendations, meetings, etc.
  • Searching for and cultivating opportunities to sell assigned clients additional agency products and services or break through to new areas of the client organization
  • Seeking out business development opportunities, qualifying prospects and planning a marketing strategy in collaboration with management
  • Managing staff resources on accounts to ensure appropriate staffing level, coverage and capabilities
  • Supporting in the management and development of all staff through sharing of best practices, leadership, sharing expectations, solving problems and working with their respective managers for quality work and career development
  • Looking for new learning experiences for staff members, training them on new processes and technologies to aid them in their development
  • Be a resource and a mentor to the rest of the account team
About You
If you have a passion for marketing, a demonstrated ability to work in high-stress situations without compromising result quality, excellent communications skills and the ability to work well with a team and forge relationships, we encourage you to apply! Other qualifications include:
  • 7-10 years experience in marketing, marketing communications, advertising in agency or client organization, or equivalent
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Experience with integrated, full-service campaigns, including video and broadcast
  • B.A. in marketing, business, journalism or liberal arts with a strong business curriculum, marketing preferred
  • Strong client management, negotiation and troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and multitask
  • Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills and excellent judgment
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Compensation: $80-$95K, Depending on Experience
