Overview and Perks:
- Full-time – Contract-to-hire
- On-site – Plymouth, MN
- Compensation: $24/hr. (After passing the state test, $25 an hour)
- Opportunity for professional growth, including the potential to obtain a casualty and property license.
Responsibilities Include:
The Insurance Customer Service Specialist seamlessly handles customer service duties. Providing comprehensive clerical support to streamline departmental operations and assist management.
- Address customer inquiries regarding insurance policies, coverage options, claims processes, and billing statements in a timely and professional manner.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues, escalating complex cases to management as needed.
- Monitoring financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Demonstrating proficiency in company products and programs to address policy and claims inquiries.
- Processing new enrollments, renewals, and claims following established guidelines.
- Document all customer interactions and transactions accurately in the company’s database or CRM system.
Qualifications Include:
- 2+ years of Customer Service experience
- 1+ years of experience in insurance, preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance products, terminology, and regulations a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Process-driven and detail-oriented, adept at prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, adept at finding prompt solutions for customer inquiries.
