Advent Talent Group is seeking an Impact Speaker for a local non-profit in Minneapolis, MN! This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about community impact and skilled in public speaking. You will share a personal story that aligns with a broader mission of social good, helping to inspire support and engagement at events hosted by partner organizations. Speaking engagements may be in-person or virtual, and full training is provided.

Overview
  • Contract Start Date: August 4, 2025
  • Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid work model
  • Compensation: $25.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Full-time, with occasional evenings and weekends
  • Travel: Required across the Twin Cities metro area

Responsibilities
  • Craft and deliver a compelling, mission-aligned personal story
  • Adapt your message for different audiences and settings
  • Manage your schedule using an online calendar system
  • Coordinate with event contacts in advance
  • Participate in coaching, training, and feedback sessions
  • Collaborate with media teams for potential recordings
  • Represent the mission with professionalism and enthusiasm

Qualifications
  • Excellent public speaking and storytelling skills
  • Passion for community impact and social change
  • Ability to connect with diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
  • Reliable, organized, and punctual
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor
  • Customer-service oriented mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
