Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to oversee all human resources functions for our client. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position based on-site in North Minneapolis, MN, with a competitive compensation range of $100,000 - $120,000. Responsibilities:
- OSHA Compliance Management: Oversee OSHA compliance efforts, encompassing meticulous reporting, record-keeping, and the implementation of robust workplace safety initiatives
- Streamlined Onboarding Experience: Lead the seamless onboarding journey for new hires, orchestrating comprehensive orientation sessions and introducing company policies to foster a smooth integration into the organization.
- Benefit Plan Administration: Manage the administration of employee benefit plans, providing detailed education to ensure understanding, compliance, and high satisfaction levels among employees.
- Efficient Payroll Processing: Oversee the bi-weekly payroll process utilizing CBIZ, ensuring utmost accuracy and timeliness in disbursements.
- FMLA Coordination: Navigate FMLA processes with precision, meticulously determining eligibility and maintaining meticulous documentation to uphold compliance standards.
- Employee Relations Enhancement: Drive initiatives aimed at fostering positive employee relations, proactively mitigating disputes, and delivering impactful HR training programs to empower staff.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Over 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with specialized expertise in payroll and benefits administration.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations, with proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs
- HR Program Implementation: Demonstrated success in creating and executing HR programs, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing employee engagement
- Employee Benefits Expertise: Extensive experience managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.
- Legal Proficiency: Strong understanding of employment and labor laws, ensuring compliance and best practices within the organization.
