Job Description

Advent Talent Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a seasoned HR Consultant. This role requires a flexible, on-call HR professional to provide comprehensive support across various HR functions. As the client’s needs can vary, the position offers flexibility with no set weekly hours, accommodating fluctuating workloads.

Overview:
Contract
Hybrid with occasional on-site throughout the Twin Cities Metro
Flexible occasional hours!
Compensation: $60.00-70.00/hr.

Duties:
  • HR Consultation: Provide expert advice on a broad range of HR topics, including policy development, compliance, and best practices.
  • Employee Relations Management: Address and resolve employee issues, conflicts, and grievances effectively and discreetly.
  • Performance and Talent Management: Support performance management processes, including evaluations, improvement plans, and talent development initiatives.
  • Policy and Procedure Oversight: Review, update, and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and recommend development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Analyze HR metrics and generate reports to support strategic decision-making and track HR performance.
  • Change Management Support: Assist with organizational changes, including transitions in leadership, to ensure smooth HR operations.

Qualifications:
  • HR Experience: Proven experience as an HR consultant or in a similar HR role with a strong focus on employee relations and general HR management.
  • Knowledge of HR Laws: Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing HR challenges.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Experience working with senior leaders and influencing HR strategies to align with organizational goals.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
