About the job
As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for full-cycle accounting within the company, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and documentation. This is a full-time, on site role with competitive pay and benefits. Duties will include:
  • Invoicing, managing outstanding receivables, and deposits
  • Processing all vendor, supplier, and subcontractor invoices, managing cash flow by ensuring all bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner
  • Processing bi-weekly payroll via the payroll system and supporting software, including ensuring that compensation and benefit selections are accurate for payroll
  • Completing job closing and month-end closing processes
  • Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business and financial reports for management
  • Assisting with the annual budgeting process and leading annual insurance audits
  • Ensuring all new hire documentation is received
  • Coordinating benefit enrollments, terminations and annual renewals
About you
If you are a quick learner and self-starter who is passionate about accounting and in possession of highly developed skills in accounting, Excel, and Quickbooks, we encourage you to apply! This is also a great role for office managers with an accounting background. Other qualifications include:
  • 3+ of bookkeeping experience
  • Associate or Bachelor’ s degree in Accounting preferred
  • Strong skills and advanced knowledge and experience with Quickbooks and MS Excel
  • High-level of detail and accuracy, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and remain organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in creating manuals, how-to guides, work-flows, etc. preferred
  • Experience in the construction industry preferred
