Responsibilities Include:
  • Starting machines in the morning and ensuring lines are running correctly for the production team
  • Assisting with preventative maintenance as well as work orders and other improvement tasks
  • Performing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment as needed
  • Performing equipment installations and modifications and training production team members on new equipment
  • Assisting in ensuring compliance with company policies and food safety regulations
  • Participating in safety committee meetings and initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Include:
  • 3+ years of related technician experience
  • Experience with vertical form fill and seal and horizontal form fill and seal machines (VFFS and HFFS)
  • Experience with digital scales, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Steppers and Servomotors
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits
  • Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to operate forklifts, boom lifts and scissor lifts*
  • Knowledge of maintenance management software
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work on your feet
  • Experience with continuous improvement and/or welding preferred
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) preferred

*In-house forklift training will be provided–no prior certification is necessary
