Description of work / project:
- The Content Specialist will work alongside the Provider Education and Research Principal to provide educational content development, medical writing, research translation and support for the Access Team and will report to the Access Partnership Strategy, Senior Manager
- This role will work cross functionally with education, marketing, enablement and research teams to consolidate and disseminate research and education developments most impactful to our shared audiences (i.e., hematology/oncology physicians and blood and marrow transplant centers).
- Create education content and materials for specific events, webinars, podcasts, and newsletters
- Create content and facilitate continuing education credits for modules and guidelines including review with experts for validation
- Create content framework/questions for live events such as roundtables and webinars
- Apply for CE/CME accreditation as appropriate
- Coordinate content and promotions with marketing and enablement teams
- Collaborate with external education partners such as ASH, ASTCT, UpToDate, NCCN for promotion of guidelines and other relevant content
- Prepare content for external partnership opportunities
- Conduct literature reviews and assist Provider Education and Research Lead with writing of manuscripts/grants for research
- Format and maintain a database of research references
- Manage research project timelines
Education and/or Experience:
- 4-year college degree
- 2 years translating science or complex medical content into educational content that can be disseminated by marketing teams
- 1 year working with or conducting research
- Virtual communication (WebEx and/or other telework platforms)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Physician/health care/medical content development and/or science writing
- Research/medical journals and thought leaders in BMT or related fields
- College-level scientific and research background
- Previous experience in health care or working with public health organizations
- Expertise in project management
- Experience with SPSS, SAS, or other data analysis software
- Proficient medical and/or science writer
