Job Description
Overview and Perks
- Full-time, contract role – $35-$45/hour
- Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN
- Fulfilling work for a nonprofit organization

- Serving as a knowledgeable resource for volunteers
- Communicating with corporate and non profit partners
- Provide guidance to partners on proper event logistics & details
- Planning and successfully executing event across all areas
- Lead a team of over 200 volunteers; assign tasks and inspect completed work
- Travel to event to coordinate the requirements for planning
- Minimum 2 years experience in large scale event planning
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of an organization
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to motivate teams and manage conflict
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills, able to consult with leaders while demonstrating business acumen and adaptability
- A commitment to creating a inclusive environment
- Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize daily tasks in a high-demand environment
