Job Description
Overview and Perks:
- Contract to hire role, full-time – Onsite.
- $22-$25/hour, depending on experience.
- Opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Record journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments as necessary.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance with minimum 1 year of accounting experience required.
- CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy; ability to effectively prioritize work.
