Job Description

This project-based Accounting Specialist offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a diverse range of accounting tasks and projects across multiple venues. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations!

Overview & Perks:
  • Contract | May - August (2024)
  • Compensation: $20-24/hr.
  • Hybrid | Woodbury, MN

Responsibilities include:
  • Accurately enter daily sales reports from over 20 venues into the company’s accounting system.
  • Collaborate closely with venue management to promptly resolve any discrepancies in reporting.
  • Manage inventory counts to uphold precise stock levels and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Generate comprehensive sales commission reports in alignment with internal policies and agreements.
  • Oversee all accounting and reporting functions related to online food delivery ordering services.
  • Provide support for additional accounting projects and tasks as required to bolster departmental operations.

Qualifications include:
  • Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience, required.
  • 1+ year of experience in accounting, specifically in AP and/or AR functions, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects while meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Prior experience in accounting or finance reporting
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
