Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain accurate records of capital expenses by balancing spreadsheets, reconciling accounts, and organizing files for audits, ensuring all documentation is easily accessible and properly stored.
- Process capital expenditure invoices promptly and accurately, collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding capital expenditures.
- Communicate with requesters to gather necessary information and close out expense reports on time, fostering efficient workflow.
- Match invoices with receipts and purchase orders to ensure accuracy, entering expenses into the accounting system with precision and attention to detail.
- Manage month-end cutoffs to ensure all transactions are accounted for in the appropriate period, maintaining compliance with financial reporting requirements.
- Foster effective communication with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth processing of payments, demonstrating a commitment to vendor relationships and financial integrity.
- 3+ years of proven experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with capital expenditure reporting is a plus.
