Job Description
Advent Talent Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Admin with expertise in QuickBooks to join our client in Plymouth! This role manages the Accounts Payable (AP) process, maintain financial records, and support our finance team with administrative tasks. Overview:
- Contract with the opportunity for long-term employment
- $25.00-27.00 per hour
- Part-time – 20-25 hours per week
- On-site – Plymouth, MN
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End AP Management: Oversee the complete Accounts Payable process, including receiving, reviewing, and processing invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Timely Payments: Ensure invoices are paid on schedule while complying with payment terms and company policies.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping and reporting.
- Account Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular reports summarizing AP activities and aging payables.
- Administrative Support: Provide general support to the finance team, helping to streamline financial processes and operations.
Qualifications:
- QuickBooks Expertise: Proven experience with QuickBooks Online for managing accounts payable, including invoice entry, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- AP Knowledge: Familiarity with standard accounts payable procedures, such as invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor management.
- Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software for maintaining financial records, performing data analysis, and creating reports.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing invoices and expense reports, ensuring minimal errors and discrepancies.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team.
