Partnering with HR and senior leaders, you will create compelling content across multiple channels, manage key internal events, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance the employee experience. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact during a crucial period.

Compensation: $60 - $70 per hour
Length: Contract covering leave of absence, approximately 5 months
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Location: Shakopee, MN – Hybrid (Tuesdays and Thursdays in office)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute clear, measurable internal communication strategies that inform and engage employees, aligning with company objectives and supporting talent management efforts.
- Manage and create content for various communication channels including intranet, SharePoint, newsletters, video, and events, ensuring brand alignment and effective information cascade.
- Lead twice-monthly all-company meetings, including content creation, coordination, and hosting.
- Produce weekly company-wide newsletters and monthly manager newsletters.
- Coordinate and develop regular video series and ad-hoc internal communications.
- Partner with senior executives to deliver compelling quarterly business updates and content for corporate events.
- Provide communications counsel to support learning and development initiatives, change management, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Develop and manage communication calendars and production schedules for internal events and milestones.
- Establish, track, and report key performance indicators for communications effectiveness and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications, with an emphasis on internal communications.
- Expertise in developing strategic internal communications plans with measurable results.
- Strong writing, editing, and creative design concept skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience working with executive leaders and in cross-functional team environments
- Proficiency in Office 365 applications, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Experience in video project development, virtual event management, and online collaboration tools.
- Project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Passionate about communication best practices and techniques.
