Overview

Location: On-site in Minneapolis, MN

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Approximately 4 months

Schedule: Primarily 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; some early mornings or evenings required (with advance notice)

Compensation: $45.00/hr.; mileage and parking reimbursed for in-person events
Responsibilities
Event Execution & Volunteer Support

Assist in planning and executing large-scale volunteer and community events

Coordinate event logistics including layout, signage, and timelines

Set up and tear down event sites (on- and off-site)

Provide on-site support and troubleshooting for volunteers

Lead corporate and community volunteer activations at various locations

Participate in post-event debriefs and wrap-up activities
Event Preparation & Logistics

Organize and prepare event supplies; manage inventory and staging

Receive and transport event materials as needed

Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure smooth logistics
Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience in event coordination, volunteer management, or customer service

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Able to lift and carry 25–40 lbs. regularly

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
-
Positive, team-oriented attitude

Experience with nonprofit or corporate volunteer events is a plus
-
Must be able to consistently lift 25–40 lbs and remain physically active for extended periods
