Advent Talent Group is seeking a Contract Executive Assistant for a well-known nonprofit organization in Minneapolis, MN, that provides civic, social and economic programs to better the Twin Cities community!  Providing administrative support to the Chief of Staff and other executives, this role is great for those with administrative support experience seeking fulfilling work in a nonprofit environment.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing administrative support to the executive office and the President, including assisting in calendaring and preparing correspondence, memos and presentations
  • Tracking projects for the executive office and managing the organization's database
  • Managing vendor contracts and processing invoices and reimbursements, providing backup assistance to finance and operations teams as needed
  • Supporting virtual and in-person special events and meetings
  • Providing organizational administrative support as needed
  • Supporting to the Board of Trustees through administrative duties, including board meetings, providing meeting materials, and maintaining board portal software

Qualifications Include:
 
  • 2+ years of administrative support experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM and calendar software
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to plan meetings or events and coordinate travel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with great organizational skills
  • Experience in a nonprofit or foundation preferred
  • Proficiency in visualization software is a plus
