Advent Talent Group is seeking a Application Billing Specialist for a nonprofit client in Minneapolis that has served the local community for over 100 years! This mission-oriented role involves managing early childhood program eligibility and scholarships, processing claims, resolving billing issues, and monitoring program compliance to promote various initiatives that drive positive civic and social change.

Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN
Schedule: Full-time
Contract
Pay: $29.00-30.00/hour + bonus

Early Learning Scholarship Administration (ELSA) Billing Specialist-
Primary Purpose: Ensure early childhood program eligibility, process and approve claim forms, clarify billing issues, and support scholarship team and programs in monitoring activity.

Responsibilities:
  • Process scholarship claims forms for early childcare programs.
  • Prepare, review, and send billing claim forms.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Provide business administration services to early childhood programs.
  • Monitor program compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain database and files of participating programs.
  • Resolve documentation issues and claim form discrepancies.
  • Communicate with families, programs, and the public regarding scholarships.
  • Educate programs on qualifications and processes for serving scholarship children.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in business, accounting, or experience in related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Heavy/high-volume billing experience (must-have).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Self-starter with excellent follow-through skills.
  • Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
